About the Role:

OpenWeb is experiencing significant growth and is looking for a seasoned Director of Product Marketing to lead the Go To Market planning and execution of new and existing OpenWeb’s features and products.

The Director of Product Marketing will be developing the overall strategy for product marketing programs and assets that highlight the best of our product offerings, value proposition, drive awareness, and ultimately revenue. In your role as a Director of Product Marketing, you will be an expert in describing our products to our current and prospective publishing partners.  As such, you will be able to leverage this knowledge to create compelling experiences that drive engagement and clarity. Attention to quality and an eye for detail, along with a strong ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits here at OpenWeb is crucial for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Market Intelligence, Research, and Analysis - Support sales by providing market trends, forecasts, analyses, new verticals, technology, and industry specific information and internal insights that allow teams to build // expand on current product offerings
  • Competitive Analysis - Research products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and market positioning
  • Product Packaging and Sales Enablement – Develop product messaging and capability definitions that differentiates our products in the market. Collaborate with SMEs to communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team. Develop and maintain the sales tools that support the selling process of our products 
  • Integrated Marketing Campaigns – Lead cross-channel marketing campaigns from conception to realization across digital and traditional media to drive engagement, lead generation and revenue growth with OpenWeb prospects and partners

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of software product marketing experience 
  • Experience using Content management systems, marketing automation and project management systems (Clearslide, Hubspot, Salesforce, Jira)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office. Powerpoint guru. 
  • Bachelor’s in business or similar professional experience
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills. You are a story-teller who is equally comfortable drafting long-form material (i.e. case studies // white papers) and bullet-point content for one-pagers and webpage
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, partners, and third parties. You understand how to drive alignment between different stakeholders and are comfortable presenting in front of large groups and senior leaders
  • Experience in developing an array of high quality, product centric, marketing content from conception to realization, working in collaboration with product, sales and creative professionals 
  • Ad-tech / mar-tech / digital publishing experience is a plus! 
  • Enterprise B2B marketing experience is also a plus!
