Role description:

SevenFifty is on a mission to power a connected alcohol supply chain by leveraging the nation's largest network of producers, distributors, importers, retailers, and restaurants. We are uniquely equipped to lead the charge of a full-blown digital transformation by utilizing our comprehensive database of wines, beers, and spirits and making it accessible through a SaaS enabled marketplace.

We are looking for a highly collaborative and curious Director, Product Marketing to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for SevenFifty’s products that serve all three tiers (distributors, importers/producers, and buyers/retailers) of the alcohol supply chain. The ideal candidate is creative and analytical, can multitask and lead, and is passionately focused on the success of our customers. This role will work alongside our Product, Sales, and CX teams to craft the story of our product and ensure it reaches the end user, driving both acquisition and retention.

This role reports to the VP of Marketing.

What you’ll do:

  • Define, manage, and execute go-to-market strategies for new and existing product initiatives including audience definition, product positioning, comms architecture, and launch strategy
  • Translate the technical to the nontechnical by developing and maintaining SevenFifty product positioning, messaging, pricing and packaging, and related marketing content and sales enablement tools
  • Map and own the buyer and customer journey across all of our three audiences to ensure we are driving the right behaviors at the right time
  • Build team expertise on the beverage alcohol industry, the needs of each tier, and technology trends
  • Own, monitor, and maintain competitive intelligence as it pertains to our messaging and sales pitch
  • Track product adoption/usage impact as a result of marketing-driven efforts
  • Work with marketing team at large to launch campaigns across web, paid, organic, email and other marketing channels
  • Be the voice of the customer — champion their needs and act as a liaison to the product team for feedback and future roadmap decisions 
  • Lead a small growing product marketing and sales enablement managers

You’ll have:

  • Extensive experience in product marketing, preferably B2B SaaS, across multiple, connected audiences is a plus
  • Management experience
  • Success in creating and executing impactful go-to-market strategies and programs
  • Expert storyteller with strong written and verbal skills
  • Experience in pricing and packaging
  • Background in acquisition as well as engagement strategies
  • Experience in tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Wordpress is a plus
  • Ability to work in a remote environment successfully (e.g. you have a space suitable for day-to-day work from home).
