About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced leader with a proven track record to help develop a product marketing discipline at Industrious. Reporting to the VP, Brand and Marketing, you will be responsible for guiding marketing strategy and go-to-market approach for our growing product suite, while also building a research driven team culture. This is an exciting time in the organization as we continue to innovate on how we go to market with our solutions and add value to consumers lives. We are looking for an exceptional marketer and leader to help us realize the growth potential of these solutions.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee a growing number of product marketing managers to develop product positioning, value propositions, and key messaging to be used across every customer touchpoint
  • Create and execute innovative marketing strategies and integrated campaigns to drive awareness, product adoption, and ongoing engagement
  • Partner with growth and sales development teams to bring marketing campaigns to life across all user touch points
  • Create, own, and champion go-to-market (GTM) strategy for new product features including setting objectives, goals, audience definition, marketing and communication strategy, and measurement.
  • Develop a deep understanding of prospective and existing consumers by employing traditional and innovative customer research methods
  • Represent the voice of the consumer and partner with cross-functional stakeholders including product, user experience, design, analytics, creative, fashion and leadership
  • Collaborate with copy and design teams to develop marketing creative
  • Track campaign performance and optimize through continuous testing
  • Review competitor products and marketing, educating stakeholders on key areas for growth and ongoing differentiation
  • Build and lead a team of top-notch product marketers

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree at minimum (MBA preferred)
  • 8-10 years experience in product marketing and brand marketing, with a history of leading consumer marketing throughout a product’s lifecycle
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience - can inspire, motivate and lead a high-performing team
  • Ability to develop, execute, and communicate a long-term strategic vision, while also balancing immediate priorities and opportunities
  • Experience in conducting and applying consumer research & insights with a strong focus on design thinking
  • Understand of how to grow culturally-relevant and emotionally-resonant consumer brands in today’s world
  • Strong bias to action and results-oriented mindset
  • Ability to create effective messaging strategies and tell compelling stories about our products and business to any audience – whether it’s our consumers, internal team, or industry at large
  • Possess an entrepreneurial and founder mindset, ready to take on tasks outside of role with strong agility to change and to be flexible/resilient
  • Ability to thrive and be resourceful in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly data-driven with a love for digging in and optimizing the numbers
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with creative, technical, and analytical counterparts
