The Role

SimpleHealth is seeking a creative, self-starter who thrives in a change-oriented, fast-moving and hyper-growth organization who can crisply synthesize and communicate various topics across the employee population with an inclusive lens. This role reports into the VP, People & Culture but will work closely with the executive leadership team to design an internal communications strategy, create engaging content, and find innovative and inclusive ways to align a distributed team around a common mission.

 

Essential Functions 

  • Oversee communication planning, strategy, execution, and evaluation using KPIs and tools for media releases, public relations, messaging, events, and supporting materials
  • Identify, optimize, and/or create communication channels that effectively reach the target audience and optimizes message resonance
  • Create the strategy of how to position SimpleHealth in the reproductive health space as most accessible
  • Focus on diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging as a key building block to everything we do, working closely with the Director of Belonging and leaders throughout the business to continually improve our communication culture and practices
  • Lead and manage the communications PR agency, influencer agency, resources, and budget.
  • Be a thought leader of how we can use social media channels to help SimpleHealth amplify the brand through different segments
  • Create a partnership strategy to have SimpleHealth partner with similar like minded brands to get more awareness
  • Be a thought partner to our brand team when they are planning tentpole campaigns to ensure we are being intentional with how it can affect our external positioning
  • Build, maintain, and grow mutually beneficial long-term relationships with influencers and leverage those relationships in support of go-to-market plans and on-going marketing efforts.

Your Qualifications

  • 6-8+ years of relevant PR experience
  • Strong alignment with SimpleHealth’s values: Patient First, Empathy, Success, Teamwork and Inclusion
  • Has integrity, understands how to handle confidential information and sensitive issues
  • An organized project leader with experience consulting, advising and mentoring
  • Creativity and a constant awareness of the end user’s experience
  • Thrives on giving and receiving feedback
  • Communicates clearly and empathetically both face-to-face and in writing
  • Excels at building relationships within and across teams
  • Is agile and excels at multitasking, independently prioritizing and ensuring all needs are met
  • Eagerness to learn, who is motivated, and an active learner
