ACCOUNTABILITIES

This leader will drive the narrative of Quartet across all segments of the company. S/he will unlock communications strategies, advance creative storytelling, drive public relations media coverage and relationship building, and strengthen the brand. This individual will lead the PR & Communications team, including directly partnering with and managing a Senior Content Manager. They will also help to lead the direction of a Senior Brand Designer, who lives on the Design team but is fully dedicated to Marketing & External Affairs team.

Strategic Communications Campaigns

  • Develop and implement a creative, strategic, multi-tier PR and external communications strategy that builds Quartet’s brand nationally. Implement metrics that articulate goals and measure success.
  • Lead visioning, execution, and distribution of large brand or anti-stigma awareness advertising campaigns. Leverage partnerships to drive content distribution, cultural relevance, and campaign success.
  • Partner with New Market teams and General Managers to create multi-tier, multi-channel local communications campaigns that drive in-market awareness and media coverage.

Public Relations and Media

  • Learn new media markets quickly, building local partnerships with media, leaders, organizations and influencers to amplify trusted relationships.
  • Actively develop and manage relationships with the media, including national healthcare media. Position Quartet leadership to be go-to experts on mental health care, and the future of innovative mental health care delivery.
  • Identify and develop PR and speaking opportunities that consistently secure high-impact placements.
  • Lead public speaking and media training for Quartet leadership and externally-facing staff members; prep senior officials for media interviews and public speaking.
  • Anticipate public affairs challenges and proactively develop strategies and solutions.
  • Serve as the company spokesperson, as needed.

Content and Channel Growth

  • Oversee a strategic content calendar that amplifies communications strategies and tests new channels for distribution. Help to humanize Quartet, telling patient and provider stories in a creative way that makes the brand, services, and technology come to life. Work cross-functionally to scope, write, and pitch content or stories that set a strategic foundation for continued growth.
  • Position Quartet as a thought leader in the mental health sector, driving new business opportunities and building critical partnerships.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years experience in PR, communications, brand; healthcare experience a strong plus
  • A sharp communicator, strong writer, and have a love for continuing to build creative strategies
  • Strong relationships with health care reporters and media outlets, and demonstrated ability to proactively build media relationships with top tier reporters and editors, and in successfully positioning subject matter with the media to achieve high-impact placements
  • Innovative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and output
  • Collaborative team player with a proven ability to partner cross-functionally
  • A passion for health care, innovation, and/or shaping the future of the mental health care landscape
  • Relevant degree or higher education
