The Role

Reporting to the SVP Performance, the Director, Retention and CRM, will own the strategy, planning and execution for SimpleHealth’s company wide retention KPI’s and milestones. In this role the individual will drive the SimpleHealth’s business objectives forward within the marketing organization and cross functionally as SimpleHealth’s Retention Business owner. They will work closely with the SVP Performance to ensure all areas of retention are being addressed and planned, working cross functionally with the following departments, Product/Dev, Operations, Finance and Data. Essential Functions

The Director of Retention and CRM will lead the end-to-end strategy and execution in the following areas: 

  • Develop a deep understanding of the patient experience process from acquisition to fulfillment, understanding SimpleHealth’s wins and opportunities surrounding churn and retention. 
  • Inclusive in the retention roadmap, explore and determine successful pathways to create a SimpleHealth loyalty program in creating ambassadors and fans of the brand. 
  • Lead development and execution of CRM strategy and function, including data gathering and quality, patient understanding, targeting, marketing deployment and loyalty program establishment
  • Develop insights and actionable items that can influence patient behaviors throughout their lifetime to retain their relationship with SimpleHealth. 
  • Set the calendar and pacing surrounding the work of retention optimization and the opportunities that need to be addressed.
  • Be a cross-functional leader in the organization to ensure various departments are delivering on holistic company Retention goals, this role is the end-to-end lead for retention at SimpleHealth and will lead product/dev, operations and finance works surrounding the improvement of retention.
  • Work closely with Finance and Business Intelligence to deliver the forecast on retention and LTV along with data rigor measurements along the pathway of success 
  • Drive and monitor A/B and multivariate experiments to optimize key performance metrics around engagement, retention, and LTV. Analyze findings and present recommendations.
  • Evolve and optimize email, direct mail, SMS and touchpoint strategy to maximize guest loyalty and drive retention
  • Understand and establish insights from and evolve patient segment strategy
  • Lead translating business and brand needs to partners for solution development
  • Keep current with emerging CRM technologies and trends
  • Partner with VP of Brand, Comms to ensure the CRM efforts are aligned with brand campaigns and timing. 



Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in economics, mathematics, quantitative discipline)
  • Experience in subscription based marketing
  • 5-7 years experience in retention, engagement and loyalty.
  • 5 years financial management and forecasting experience
  • Fluency with Looker (and ideally SQL), Excel proficiency, 
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, either formally through reporting or informally through influence
  • Experience working with brand and growth marketing
  • Experience in building and scaling a team for growth
  • Business acumen and leadership presence
