Meeting your future team:

Collibra is seeking a Director of Technical Marketing to champion our technical GTM initiatives. Working as one Collibra, you will oversee technical marketing and enablement in close collaboration with multiple teams (Sales Engineering, Product Management, Enablement, Customer Success, Marketing) at Collibra. From developing best-in-class marketing programs, assets, best practices, demos and communications with partners and customers to strategizing on how to raise technical sales competency and efficacy, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Collibra’s hypergrowth.

The Director of Technical Marketing at Collibra is responsible for:

  • Partnering with Product Management and Product Marketing to help educate our partners and technical sellers on platform best practices, how-to-get-started, partner integrations and more.
  • Driving excellence around how we communicate roadmaps, features and benefits internally and externally.
  • Establishing technical marketing as a discipline at Collibra and manage one individual who will be looking after competitive and market intelligence.
  • Leading efforts to increase the technical acumen of internal technical sellers and help customers better understand value associated with our offers in the market.
  • Working with the customer success team and our customers to get feedback on usage and roadblocks and leverage insights to create assets designed to accelerate adoption.
  • Support technical partners with proactive communication and enablement.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of product and technical marketing experience in SaaS Enterprise Software, ideally within the Data Management and/or Analytics spaces
  • Experience in creating demos, test drive environments and technical assets (e.g. best practice guides, how-to-get-started docs, product usage videos etc)
  • Ideally you have experience building technical marketing as a practice from the ground up, because you’ve done it before.

You Are:

  • A strategic thinker who can see the big picture but someone who is also hands-on and can roll up their sleeves to get the work done.
  • Someone who readily absorbs and comprehends new information from formal and informal learning experiences.
  • Effective in working with sales engineers, support, product management, product marketing, customer success, enablement, partners and customers.
  • Comfortable presenting, a precise communicator, writer, and team-player
  • Someone who understands that managing people means providing them with guidance and then letting them run so they can do their best work.

Measuring Success:

  • Within your first month, you will learn our products and put a plan in place for technical marketing.
  • Within your third month, you will execute your plan and start to build out technical enablement and your technical marketing programs.
  • Within your sixth month, you will optimize and scale both our internal technical as well as our external partner competency programs and have technical programs and assets in place to help our customers accelerate adoption.
