Who you are:

You are a highly-motivated undergraduate student who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are interested in leveraging your strong project management skills while learning about marketing for a growing tech company. In this event marketing role, you will work side-by-side with our entire, talented Marketing team and see firsthand how they are an integral part of the continued success of Dataminr. Every day will present you with opportunities to grow and gain valuable professional experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Events Marketing Manager on all sponsored and hosted marketing events.
  • Assist in tradeshow coordination, including material ordering, packing booth materials, shipping logistics and post-event analysis.
  • Conduct pre- and post-show calls with the sales teams.
  • Help maintain stock of event materials, promotional products and collateral list.
  • Manage lead database for all owned events.
  • Manage events on the website, marketing calendar and master event spreadsheet.
  • Support other initiatives of the team as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Rising junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree
  • Exceptional time management and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrates superior attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Collaborative, team player with the ability to work independently when needed
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; flexible
