What's Clyde? - Clyde is an end-to-end product protection platform that is re-thinking the way retailers increase loyalty and drive revenue, and the way customers manage their purchases. We are tackling the $50B per year extended warranty market and becoming the de facto solution in the space by leveraging an intense focus on product, design, and customer experience. Clyde delivers product protection plans directly to consumers as they shop, owning the relationship from purchase to claim submission to resolution. We know that the relationship between retailers and their customers is far from over after checkout, so we’re building products to deliver value at every stage of this relationship.

Clyde is looking for a dynamic and highly motivated Event Marketing Manager to build our event marketing program from the ground up. Clyde is approaching events with creativity and thoughtfulness at the forefront of our program. You will work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to build awareness of Clyde and grow demand through in-person and virtual events and conferences. An ideal candidate will have had experience scaling an events program for a B2B software company. This is a full-time role that reports directly to Clyde’s Director of Marketing. New York area preferred.

What We Look For

• 2+ years of experience at a fast growing technology company, preferably B2B
• 3+ years in an event management role
• Results oriented with exceptional attention to detail; able to drive projects from planning to completion with limited oversight
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A low ego and can-do attitude; willingness to admit mistakes and work to remedy them
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to work across diverse internal and external stakeholders
• Comfort operating in an ambiguous environment where there's not a set playbook on how to solve each problem
• Experience with Marketo preferred

Requirements

• Work closely with marketing and sales teams to execute flawless prospect and customer events that drive demand and help achieve company goals
• Manage events and conferences end-to-end, from ideation to planning to execution and measurement
• Own management of event budgets to achieve highest possible ROI
• Management of email campaigns to drive registration and attendance to events and conferences
• Own all logistics for conferences and events including venue sourcing, guest list management, on-site logistics, booth build-outs, coordination of outreach with Sales, and vendor management
