iCapital Network is looking for an experienced and talented Events Manager to help build our brand and enhance client loyalty through the management of impactful and expertly executed client events. You will serve as a core member of the marketing team but will work closely with senior leadership, sales and research and due diligence teams in the development of meeting agendas and content. In addition, you will reinforce client to business relations, enhance iCapital’s image and flawlessly deliver on event objectives. This role will provide the right candidate with a chance to shine in a fast-paced, high-growth environment that values leadership, accountability and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Work with iCapital leadership to develop our client engagement events strategy, fully plan and lead the execution of all market-facing events globally.
  • Partner with contracted service providers and the marketing team to manage client and prospect events hosted by iCapital and activities as a participant and sponsor at industry events hosted by others
  • Develop event budgets and post-event accounting
  • Negotiate with service vendors and manage vendor relationships
  • Negotiate Sponsorship agreements on behalf of iCapital
  • Manage every aspect of event communication to attendees and company management
  • Develop Feedback Surveys
  • Obtain permits and compliance approval as may be required

Candidate Profile

  • Undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations or Hospitality
  • Experience in event management within the Financial Services industry is required
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task
  • Communication and marketing skills
  • Project management experience
  • Detail oriented to ensure polished output that is free of inaccuracies and typos
  • Ability to work independently and manage complex event projects
