VTS is changing the way that commercial real estate (CRE) is done - disrupting a $15 trillion dollar industry by becoming the modern operating system for CRE. We invented the category of leasing and asset management, which allows landlords and brokers to manage their entire leasing process to maximize revenue and performance. Our success shows in our numbers - we’ve grown 123% annually since 2013, and today we have over 11 billion square feet of commercial space managed on VTS, and we’ve expanded to ~200 employees globally. It’s an exciting time to join the VTS team as we continue to scale!
Our headquarters are in NYC, but we have hubs in other major US cities, Toronto, CA and London, UK.

An Insider's view of VTS

What are some social events your company does?

I spend a large part of my week at work, so being around great people is very important. The vibe at VTS is very friendly, and there are plenty of opportunities to share knowledge and to socialize, including brown bags, catered lunches, happy hours, team outings, and other events.

Staff Software Engineer

How do you collaborate with other teams in the company?

I collaborate with other teams on the company when there’s a piece of code that I’m working on that relates to another topic or domain expertise, I’ll ask for help. Everyone’s really into the idea of collaborating because we know that it’ll create a better product!

Software Engineer

How do you empower your team to be more creative?

A creative environment is critical for great marketing! The main way I try to do this is encourage everyone's ideas - and recognize that while I may have more experience, this is the first time for all of us at this company, so my job is to guide the team towards great ideas, not be the source of all of them.

Chief Marketing Officer

How do your team's ideas influence the company's direction?

This year we completely redesigned our product strategy process. Several cross-functional forums provide an avenue where anyone in the company can suggest projects and influence prioritization. Feedback on the new process has been incredibly positive. It’s helping to keep the whole company aligned on our most promising and impactful initiatives.
