This milestone is allowing us to expand to hundreds of more home services to bring the Handy experience to millions of more customers and professionals.

About the role

We’re looking for a marketing professional to drive marketing strategy and execution for Handy’s fastest growing P&L. This is a unique opportunity to play a part in the expansion and integration of the Handy and HomeAdvisor product offerings into 135+ new services! We’re looking for someone who is data-driven but creative, intellectually curious, and a quick learner. 

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying the best ways to convert, engage, upsell and cross sell customers interested in fixed priced services through a variety of channels. It’s the perfect role for a hungry, analytical team-player who wants to contribute to the growth of a nascent, but very high potential new business line from the ground up. If you’re an expert marketer who is motivated by learning & testing, constantly thinking of new ways to sell, and enjoys collaborating with different teams to strategize new product offerings, this role is for you. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive marketing communications strategy and testing roadmap
  • Own end to end execution of marketing email and SMS marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with different teams to develop and optimize marketing acquisition and retention programs \
  • Develop engaging email content to maintain a rich and diverse editorial calendar
  • Continually optimize marketing efforts towards metrics like conversion, engagement, and revenue
  • Report weekly on KPIs, test results and next steps 
  • Research and propose new channels and opportunities for growth

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 2+ years experience in growth/lifecycle marketing
  • 1+ year experience with email marketing
  • Experience setting up lifecycle marketing campaigns – e.g. welcome/abandoned cart drips, lead nurturing, post-conversion engagement, retention, etc.
  • Robust analytic and quantitative skills 
  • Copywriting experience a plus
  • HTML proficiency a plus
  • Familiarity with platforms like SendGrid or Customer.io a plus
  • Email copywriting experience a plus
  • Robust analytic and quantitative skills
  • Familiarity with email best practices
  • Bachelor's degree required
