ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Resy Marketing team is seeking an upbeat self-starter to support all initiatives related to all events, dining programs, brand activations, and sponsorships. Reporting directly to our VP, Public Relations & Experiential, the ideal candidate is eager to dive in and help with the planning and execution of events and activations, ranging from small to large-scale.

The Experiential Coordinator is creative, highly organized, detail-oriented, a strong communicator, adaptable, solutions-oriented and can work autonomously. You understand that successful events are complex and require a great deal of time, energy, and dedication. You have a knack for anticipating and planning for all kinds of scenarios, and you are excited about the idea of coming up with ideas to improve services and event quality. The ideal candidate excels at project management and is comfortable owning the process from kick-off to launch.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Work with team on the ideation + creative components for all Resy events 
• Collaborate with the creative/brand design team on all event branding, collateral, signage, swag etc. 
• Coordinate and manage the relationship with all types of vendors and venues, including: researching options, obtaining quotes, negotiating pricing, and tracking invoices/payments 
• Assist with event planning and production, including the set up for: venues, dining, production, AV
• Coordinate event entertainment, including: music, performers, and guest speakers
• Manage and oversee events on the day of, including: problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with staff, and organizing vendors, and managing take-down
• Conduct market research, gather information, provide options, and coordinate printing/distribution of: branding, collateral, signage, swag
• Assist with Resy brand creative projects 
• Assist with the travel and coordination for talent, including: chefs, special guests, industry individuals 
• Liaise with restaurant/chef partners on events 
• Manage the swag inventory closet 

WHO YOU ARE: 

• You have your Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 
• You have 2+ years’ experience in Experiential Marketing / Events 
• You have proven experience as an Events Coordinator or Organizaor
• You have organizational and analytical skills, including great attention to detail and ability to multitask, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• You excel at time management and have strong communication skills
• You possess the ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with diverse groups of people
• You have impeccable copy editing and proofreading skills
• You are proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word, along with the ability and willingness to adopt new software applications
