We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Field Marketing & Events Manager who will own the overall strategy and execution of our field marketing programs. You will be responsible for supporting the sales team in developing and managing field-based demand generation programs and event campaigns to build awareness, drive and nurture leads, and accelerate opportunities to close. This position will collaborate closely with sales, sales development and demand generation teams to plan and execute activities.

Reporting to the Head of Demand Generation, the ideal candidate will be a self-starter that can hit the ground running and leverage their experience to build out a field marketing program. A successful candidate will be analytical, creative, sales-focused, and an effective collaborator. This role will sit in our NYC HQ.

Responsibilities

  • Support ActionIQ’s demand generation and sales goals through regional field and industry events & activities
  • Research, plan and maintain ActionIQ events cadence including 3rd party industry conferences, ActionIQ-driven prospect and customer events, and regional sales driven hospitality field events
  • Own internal communication process between Demand Generation team and Sales to ensure consistent drumbeat of updates of all marketing activities
  • Assisting, accelerating, and creating sales opportunities to drive revenue through custom events and field initiatives by working directly with the sales team to identify customers & prospects from target accounts
  • Own end-to-end event logistics for all events, both in person and virtual, including sourcing venues, managing the relationship with the onsite event coordinator, executing the contract, managing the budget, and ensuring the event is executed flawlessly
  • Partner with Sales & BDR team to align on all pre and post event communication, marketing-driven campaigns, and event promotion strategy to ensure programs hit registration and pipeline goals.
  • Evaluate all campaigns’ impact and ROI to determine the success and forecast for potential future investment 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a Demand Gen, Field Marketing, or similar role
  • Experience using Salesforce, Marketo/Pardot/Hubspot, BDR Tools
  • Experience using virtual event platforms such as GoToWebinar, Bizzabo, ZoomWebinar, etc
  • Experience with B2B and Account Based Marketing (ABM)
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, including attention to detail
  • Experience managing a budget
  • Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and drive results across teams (including remote colleagues) and at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to analyze & interpret metrics around field marketing performance
  • Extremely detail-oriented and ability to handle ambiguity
  • Basic understanding of the sales pipeline funnel
