Global CRM Strategist
Squarespace is looking for a Growth Strategist for our CRM team. You will develop the promotional strategy, CRM campaign segmentation and go-to-market strategy to introduce creative individuals around the world and in US growth markets to our products aimed to help them succeed online. Every market is different and you will pair your experience with collaborative spirit as you build local products and marketing campaigns. This is an opportunity to join our Marketing team at an exciting stage of growth and internationalization.
This role is based in our NYC headquarters and reports directly to the Head of Audience Strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Craft and implement CRM and retention strategies to support Squarespace’s entry into new countries and languages
- Partner with Product, Customer Operations and broader teams to align all goals, positioning and projects
- Be the CRM partner driving new product launches and integrations in international markets and the US
- Collaborate with Marketing Analytics to measure performance, uncover opportunities and test and learn agenda
- In partnership with the International Marketing team, contribute to the product roadmap for each country and language by providing insights, research, and data to guide prioritization
- Develop international promotions calendar to support strategic initiatives and product launches in priority markets around the world
- Support the CRM Campaigns team with audience definition and list operations for outbound marketing campaigns that accomplish revenue-driving goals including incremental revenue lift, engagement and retention
- Identify international/growth customer segments and inform customer journeys accordingly
- Work with the Legal team to ensure international compliance of customer contact and promotions
- Partner with the Analytics team and leaders across the organization to meet/exceed growth projections
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years marketing experience, with expertise delivering complex multi-channel CRM campaigns in new markets
- Understand localization and how cultural perspectives influence CRM strategies
- Passion for the Squarespace product and user experience, and a desire to be an advocate for the brand
- Experience using ESP and CRM platforms
- Familiarity with relational databases; Proficiency in SQL preferred
- Excellent project management abilities; able to execute complex projects
- Well versed in domestic and international email compliance laws including CAN-SPAM, CASL and GDPR
- Experience using multiple channels (email, web, push, in-app messaging, and digital media) to communicate with customer base
