Uber is early in its journey to define the future of membership at Uber. In late 2021 we launched Uber One, our global membership program that brings together the best of Uber and Uber Eats. As we continue to bring Uber One to more countries around the world we are looking for a Global Product Marketing Manager, Membership Experience to join our team.
The Membership Experience PMM will be responsible for driving member growth and engagement through campaigns, experiments, and new feature launches. We're looking for a candidate with deep empathy for riders & eaters, the ability to deliver a vision and inspire internal & external partners, the mastery of global go-to-market strategy, and ability to drive business goals. You will work hand in hand with the cross-functional team including Product Managers, Research, Strategy and Planning, Operations, Design, CRM, Communications and Engineering.
What You'll Do

  • Lead growth and retention strategies for Uber One and serve as the connective tissue between product, marketing, business development, and business teams to identify winning tactics to boost member engagement and retention across owned and paid channels.
  • Develop a deep understanding of priorities (business targets, P&L priorities, segmentation, priority markets) & have end to end ownership of our member engagement strategy.
  • Build the member experience vision- encourage cross functional teams to put membership at Uber's Core and partner with product, design, creative, brand, and CRM to bring this to life.
  • Orchestrate experimentation plans across key channels and products. Partner closely with data science and marketing teams to build out roadmaps and testing strategies to drive growth and engagement through new and existing surfaces in and out of the Uber app.
  • Drive a research agenda that equips the product team with data-based customer insights to deliver the right products, experiences, and benefits that solve members' core needs.
  • Lead effective go-to-market plans and growth & engagement strategies for global, regional, and partnership launches.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proven track record of building and executing campaigns that drive material business impact.
  • Willingness and know-how to deeply understand your market, customers and competition.

  • Scary-good at articulating the essence of products and the value they create! You can develop a strong messaging hierarchy and effective content strategy plan.

  • Master storyteller: You can craft a compelling narrative across different channels while matching message to the medium.
  • An "owner" personality: You're biased toward action, a great collaborator and master simplifier. You never stop pushing towards clarity and delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with marketing strategy and campaign development within the membership and/or loyalty space.
