ABOUT THIS ROLE
Reporting to the VP, Global Social Media, Audible has a unique and exciting opportunity to participate in shaping the Audible brand globally, within the discipline of social media listening and community engagement. This role will establish a new global social listening function within Audible, and also serve as the key liaison for global community management related to brand and content campaigns, in close partnership with our customer support team. This role is responsible for building and executing the community social listening strategy across campaigns and evergreen activities globally in order to generate meaningful analysis and qualitative insights that will help drive community management strategy and real-time responses. The person for this role will have a strong and proven track record in how to drive brand conversation on social media via a strong understanding of a variety of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter and YouTube at a minimum), possesses a fluency with digital culture and community management, and has an ability to build and scale the social listening function at Audible. This person will also be an expert at relationship building and influence: open, process-oriented, curious, and a champion for social listening to help meet our social strategy goals.
As a Global Social Community Intelligence Lead, you will...

  • Be the global point of reference for social listening and the pulse of what conversations about Audible on social media are.
  • Partner with social media leadership in driving our social listening and brand community management strategy.
  • Partner closely with our customer support team in tone of voice and social listening insights.
  • Partner with content marketing and other global social team members in designing campaign community management strategies.
  • Create the dashboards and tools to produce quantified global community management reporting.
  • Develop global community management playbooks for distribution and adoption by 10 global marketplaces.
  • Drive suggested responses and opportunities in real time across social and other cross-functional teams in order to jump on real trends and insights and drive conversation of Audible across our social channels.
  • Provide ongoing refreshes and updates to community management guidelines as needed throughout the year and in alignment with new social media channels inclusive across social media features/tactics.
  • Work closely with cross functional partners (PR, Comms, Legal, Content Marketing, etc.) to provide insights and actionable next steps on global social listening trends.
  • Structure sentiment analysis globally in conjunction with the global social analytics team.
  • Drive a greater share of voice of the Audible globally as a result of social community intelligence analysis and learnings that you will share and drive across the organization.


Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of demonstrated excellence in building strategies for social listening and community management globally.
  • Experience of Sprinklr as a social media listening tool.
  • Experience in Boolean queries to undertake in-depth listening analysis.
  • Experience working with global, large, consumer-facing brands.
  • Experience leading project workstreams with global marketplaces.
  • Experience influencing and collaborating with cross functional teams.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Outstanding copywriter who understands how to be engaging while at the same time understanding brand reputation.
  • Strong project management skills and understands the need to coordinate worldwide teams on a global listening approach to drive evolution of strategy.
  • Deep knowledge of social media platforms and asset requirements-must be up to date in understanding behaviors and patterns specific to unique channels.
  • Strong creative and analytical skills as regards to community management strategy.
  • Experience in entertainment marketing.
  • Leadership experience; experience working within global organizations.
  • Proven record of success in driving improvements in social media marketing demonstrated through specific results grounded in strategy.
  • Demonstrated success in a self-starter, fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Demonstrated creativity, with effective communication skills to bring problem-solving and ideas to a broad audience.
  • Experience with quick-turn/rapid-response communications.
  • Experience collaborating within dynamic and matrixed organizations.
