What you will do
SpotMe is at a critical moment in its history. We have ambitious plans to grow, and this role is an essential part. Over the past year, SpotMe has identified and vetted an exciting opportunity to create a new solution in an underserved pharma & life sciences category. 

This is a unique opportunity to launch a new solution within an existing and flourishing business, complete with an existing book of business. Your mission will be to drive a new level of product and market focus within the solution, proving that increased specialism makes sense, and then scaling up when you find success.

Who you are:
  • You understand the pharma/life science landscape and have the credentials to prove it. You speak the language, and you have a track record of selling SaaS in the pharma/life science industry; alternatively, you have past experiences in/with medical communications, medical affairs, or brand/commercial teams in the field
  • You have a background in B2B sales or performance-based growth marketing
  • You are convinced that live events are the only sustainable channel to engage healthcare professionals (HCPs)
  • You have the grit. You are a highly organized doer; you have the perseverance to run the marathon that is growth testing, you care about the precise execution of tests and have the patience and determination to win
  • You are creative. You will look at data and paint such a gorgeous picture in your mind that it is crystal clear about how to forge forward. You can transform dull, technical language into compelling narratives about how the solution is driving results with customers
  • You are analytical. You need to understand funnels and data, and the underlying backend infrastructure
  • You are a strong communicator. You will communicate weekly growth updates to the entire company, and tell the team what is going on. You are able to motivate all the cross-functional talents that will help you achieve your mission
  • You have a head for business, the mind of a demand gen guru, and the heart of a customer success manager 
  • You thrive on building things from scratch, but always have an eye on scaling them up
  • Experience in growth-stage company highly preferred
  • Building relationships and partnerships are second nature

What you will accomplish:
  • Own and execute the growth strategy for this new solution, and then inform our customer journey with your learnings
  • Develop a go-to-market plan for the business launch, forecast, efficiency targets, and channel and partner selection
  • Craft the value proposition for this new solution and develop the core messaging
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (product, marketing, sales) to develop advertising assets, landing pages, emails, campaigns, and reporting needed to manage programs at launch and beyond
  • Develop partnerships with existing SaaS ecosystems and develop relevant product integrations
  • Post-launch, design and implement optimization tests across our end-to-end customer funnel (from acquisition through lifecycle retention)
  • Pitch the solution and close the first customers, drive successful reference implementations and ensure expansion and retention targets are met
