Digital Marketing Manager
Wagmo is looking for a dog-loving, number-crunching Digital Marketing Manager to lead customer acquisition, conversions, and retention. This role reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for expanding our user base and building a scalable acquisition model.
As a member of the founding team, this is an opportunity to have complete ownership over all things growth and acquisition. You’ll own our acquisition funnel and assist with product development along the way. You will optimize monetization levers, including referral programs and promotions, as well as identify and launch new levers by working closely with the product team. In this high visibility role, you will drive the user acquisition agenda and campaign roadmap, and play a big part in developing the culture of our marketing team. As one of our early hires, you will have the opportunity to grow into more responsibility as the company expands.
What You'll Do
Establish crucial KPIs and data inputs to drive towards and measure goals
Day-to-day management of campaigns across a range of channels with an emphasis on driving high-quality users to support aggressive growth
Drive and manage A/B and multivariate tests with landing pages, copy, content, and more
Generate data-driven hypotheses and test, scale and optimize marketing campaigns to cost-effectively drive key user actions on platform
Partner with other teams to improve the user journey in order to optimize conversions, renewals, and the customer experience
Communicate and work with the executive team to make data-based decisions around marketing tactics, strategy and growth plans
What You'll Need to be Successful
At least 3 years of growth or paid acquisition experience, ideally at a high growth startup
A highly analytical mind. You’re the type of person who puts everything in an excel sheet. You collect data on everything and use it to make constant, incremental improvements
Ability to see the forest, not just the trees. You can set and communicate a high-level strategy while managing the day-to-day execution
Strong experience with acquisition and retention programs that grow users and engagement, ideally at a direct to consumer startup
A scrappy and entrepreneurial mindset. You love the challenge of crushing goals under a tight deadline and budget
Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to prioritize and work with minimal supervision
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented
