ABOUT US

Traditional health care is broken. Galileo is here to fix it. We’re a rapidly growing health startup that combines intuitive design and clinical expertise to deliver affordable, quality care for all.

Founded by Thomas Lee, MD, the physician entrepreneur behind One Medical and Epocrates, Galileo’s innovative, value-based digital and delivery systems revolve around people—bringing better doctors and treatment to them, whoever they are and wherever they live.

Galileans, as we like to call ourselves, are dedicated to flipping the traditional health care model into a modern solution for today—and beyond. Our empathetic, mission-driven culture puts our patients first, celebrates creative problem solving, and moves quickly to build great products. Our teams work collaboratively, so there’s plenty of day-to-day interaction. We believe in a hybrid, flexible working environment and have team members across the U.S. and Europe.

ABOUT YOU

We look for passionate people who are invested in solving complex problems that impact millions of lives. Whether you’ve worked in health care from day one or come from a different industry, you should be excited about fixing what’s broken to improve care quality and health outcomes for everyone.

We believe in a culture that fosters teamwork, excellence, and sound decision-making—one that is based on mutual respect and trust. We appreciate individuals who are open and honest about what they’re looking for so we can ensure it’s a fit on both sides.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Galileo is looking for a seasoned Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our growth marketing team. As the Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will own the execution of end-to-end lifecycle marketing. This entails driving strategic initiatives across different stages of the customer journey for consumer, B2B and health plan partners to deliver against growth (onboarding, activation) and retention (engagement, product utilization) goals.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Optimize the lifecycle journey through a deep understanding of our user segments. Identify points of friction and deliver actionable solutions across relevant channels (email, push, SMS, etc)
  • Coordinate deliverables through establishing deadlines and alignment with editorial calendars to support monthly, one-off and cadenced communication.
  • Establish lifecycle marketing metrics to measure performance and impact on Galileo’s KPIs. Partner with analytics to create and implement solutions and frameworks to ensure measurement, reporting and insights are effectively delivered and impactful.
  • Build hypothesis-based tests, identify opportunities and run AB tests in segmentation, channel, and messaging in order to drive improvements to key results.
  • Develop and manage internal and external relationships with cross-functional teams and third parties to ensure teams are informed and working collaboratively to meet shared goals.

WHAT YOU NEED

  • 4-5+ years of experience in lifecycle and retention marketing. Experience in technology or healthcare is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to build growth strategies and operations from scratch, with an analytical mindset towards testing and learning.
  • You have expertise in creating and executing customer segmentation strategies and are familiar with enterprise-level email and customer marketing platform tools. Bonus if you have experience with Braze, Salesforce or Twilio.
  • HTML/CSS familiarity is required. You don’t mind rolling up your sleeves to edit, QA, or deploy an email.
  • Experience working with multiple marketing channels and compliance considerations for each (CAN-SPAM, double opt-ins, etc)

Ultimately, you’ll be on a new team committed to changing the future of health care by making high-quality care more accessible and affordable for everyone.

HOW WE HIRE

Galileo is committed to hiring the best team possible to build health care that works for everyone. We value a diverse set of perspectives to deliver the best possible solutions to those problems. We look for talent from a wide range of backgrounds—including, but not limited to—race, age, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, national origin, religion, disability, and veteran status. Galileo is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides reasonable accommodations to applicants and employees with a qualifying disability or conflict with a sincerely held religious belief, unless doing so would cause an undue hardship or fail to eliminate a direct threat.
