Under its 21Shares brand, Amun is the world's largest issuer of crypto exchange-traded
products (ETPs). The 21Shares suite of ETPs has simplified access to crypto for both
institutional and retail investors in the traditional finance community. In a similar fashion,
Amun aims to provide tokens that will make it easy for the crypto community to access
sophisticated strategies that are not otherwise readily available in this space. Amun 21Shares is a
team of entrepreneurs, engineers, and financial product developers who are uniquely
placed to revolutionize cryptocurrency investing through the issuance of our broad range
of tokens. Our goal is to make these tokens present a new paradigm in cryptocurrency
investing and to facilitate their use.
Our investment in superior technology and automation has enabled us to both release
products, as well as work directly with top organizations including the Bitcoin Cash Foundation,
Bitcoin Suisse, Binance, Bitwise, Coinbase, FlowTraders, Sygnum, and the Tezos Foundation
as launch partners or customers of Onyx, our full stack issuance platform.
Amun 21Shares is looking for a Head of Communications, with deep public relations and media experience, ideally both in agency and in-house. This person should have a passion for storytelling is a must. Candidates should be comfortable managing agents as well as have pre-existing relationships with reporters. This role will be based in our NYC office.
Responsibilities
Develop Amun & 21Shares’s strategy for media relations
Create a messaging framework for the company’s media strategy that ties to relevant societal, technology, and media trends
Write press releases, bylines, blog posts, and other key pieces of content
Lead the identification, development, pitching and placement of company-related stories in top-tier media
Managing press opportunities through to completion – including staffing interviews, developing background bios, briefing executive spokespeople and tracking through the publishing process
Establish and nurture relationships with key media contacts
Create metrics to measure success and impact of corporate communications
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in PR
Mix of agency and in-house experience
Startup mentality and experience a plus
Pre-existing relationships with reporters in the business and technology sectors
Strategic problem solver; intelligent and creative
Exceptional writing and editing skills
Extreme attention to detail
