This is a Head of Growth Marketing position at a stealth health tech and consumer goods company launching out of Redesign. The company is on a mission to improve people’s well-being by bringing to market a modern sleep wellness solution grounded in truth and supported by the latest in sleep science, data, and technology.
About the role
SleepCo is looking for a Head of Growth Marketing to join our rapidly growing company during its foundational stage. The ideal candidate is a passionate and experienced growth marketing leader who combines strong creative and analytical skills. A results-driven business builder who can quickly orchestrate across the mix to deliver rapid growth and a long-term sustainable business. This person is responsible for all acquisition and retention strategies and execution and successfully achieving core KPIs.. You will prudently build a small team and/or use outside resources..

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating strategies and plans to drive sustainable revenue, new customer acquisition, cross and upsell, and intelligent retention programs.
- Establish company-wide marketing KPI and reporting infrastructure.
- Own overall marketing forecast and performance model. Have a close pulse on underlying drivers and performance KPIs.
- Continuously optimize across acquisition and retention programs to improve KPIs, our CAC:LTV ratio and decrease overall marketing payback periods.
- Customer acquisition - Uncover new opportunities to acquire customers efficiently and at scale through leveraging our distribution channels, partners, and our digital and offline marketing channels.
- Play a key role in evolving, defining, and driving our acquisition KPIs, analytical systems, and business processes.
- Own SEO strategy, execution, and optimization.
- Direct our marketing analytics and automation technology strategy and implementation. Guide and partner with the engineering team.
- Develop processes to ensure flawless cross-functional planning throughout all phases of development to production and execution
- Create an accountable team culture that balances risk-management and cost controls with speed to market and groundbreaking marketing innovation.
- Gain buy-in and alignment across all key stakeholders.
- May own other responsibilities depending on skillset and experience.
What You’ll Have:
- 8+ years of acquisition, conversion optimization, and retention marketing experience in a high growth consumer tech organization. Previous CPG experience a plus.
- User acquisition experience across a full range of paid offline & digital channels.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and discussions, action plans and campaigns that drive objectives
- A consistent track record of exceeding overall acquisition and retention goals, with the ability to communicate strategies, successes, and learnings.
- Sophisticated perspective on marketing mix allocation, attribution, LTV/CAC and sustainable acquisition.
- Analytics-savvy and up-to-date on innovative tools, platforms, and resources to develop a data-driven team with the agility to pivot in real-time
- You thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured, high growth environment.
- Self-starter, organized, able to deliver results and progress on time and within budget.
- Ecommerce experience required, omnichannel and subscription revenue experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree.
