Position Overview

As Catalyst’s first dedicated Marketing hire, you will have the opportunity to build out the function from the ground up. You will be a key member of Catalyst’s leadership team and will work closely with our cofounders. Catalyst is a design-centric and user-experience focused company that puts the customer at the core of everything we do, and we’ll rely upon you to ensure that this reputation carries. Every message & touchpoint starting at the pre-sales funnel is evaluated and refined to ensure that we’re represented as a top tier brand for customer success. You will assume responsibility for demand gen, brand, content,/event marketing, & sales enablement.


What You’ll Do 

  • Deliver qualified prospects/interest to achieve revenue targets, in partnership with Sales
  • Show and tell our story on driving customer success to the forefront and center of every company
  • Own our creative channels to build brand awareness for Catalyst as the #1 Customer Success Platform (eg. blog, podcasts, videos, community) 
  • Build and own the processes across all demand-generation programs marketing channels (eg. ABM, paid social, events, webinars, SEO) ) 
  • Partner with our Product team to develop product launch plans for prospects and customers
  • Work with Revenue Ops to build our sales enablement playbooks and the foundation of our marketing tech stack
  • Build a community & customer advocacy program 
  • Build and drive automation strategies across the customer lifecycle (new sales, customer communications, customer marketing) 
  • Continuously brainstorm, test, and execute optimization experiments to improve channel performance and drive growth of qualified leads, opportunities, and revenue


What You’ll Need

  • Extensive hands-on marketing leadership experience within B2B SaaS companies, preferably for a product that sells into multiple different personas
  • Demonstrated passion for experiential marketing 
  • Domain knowledge of the customer success, CRM, customer support, & product analytics space is a plus
  • Mastery of content - strong messaging/positioning skills and solid writing skills for use in messaging documents, presentations, and blogs
  • Detail and results-oriented; skilled at both strategy and hands-on execution; data-driven and intuitive and empathetic to the needs of our customers
  • Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to managing projects
  • Strong people management, mentoring, coaching, and development experience
