Head of Paid Acquisition and Growth Marketing

Fabric, the one-stop shop for new parents to secure their family's financial future, is looking for a sharp, analytical and experienced Head of Acquisition and Growth Marketing to head our paid customer acquisition efforts, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the P&L of all paid customer acquisition channels including digital channels (paid social, display, affiliates etc.) and offline channels (TV, direct mail, radio/podcast); manage annual budget and drive ROI & audience quality 
  • Build forecasts and predict marketing channel performance using cohort analyses
  • Build and optimize product-driven growth (via mobile app, referrals and the like) in conjunction with the Product and Engineering teams
  • Develop the company’s viewpoint on channel attribution and appropriate ways to measure performance of channels
  • Own the customer conversion funnels for all paid channels, develop and run a robust testing agenda to maximize conversion volume and quality
  • Build and run a culture of always-on testing and innovation to develop new sources of customer growth as we continue to scale the business
  • Partner with Design to run an always-on creative testing agenda across all channels and get data-driven insights on messaging and visual design
  • Own the marketing tech stack for the business, and partner with BI and Engineering to build and manage it
  • Maintain and optimize relationships with key marketing agencies & partners

To be successul, you will likely bring:

  • 5-8 years of experience managing a broad set of customer acquisition channels, both digital and offline
  • A proven track record in a high growth start-up within e-commerce, fintech, insurtech or a D2C business
  • Razor-sharp analytical capability; unbiased and clean analyses; rigorous data-driven decision making and familiarity with attribution modelling
  • Customer empathy and the ability to walk in the shoes of a consumer, that drives creative and messaging strategy for channels
  • Deep understanding of the marketing tech stack, and the ability to dig in with Engineering on tech setup, data, vendor tags & pixels, etc.
  • Ability to create and implement scalable processes across teams
  • Established set of relationships in the marketing space across vendors, agencies, and partners
  • Clean and concise verbal/written communication and inclination to work with all teams in the company
