About the Role:

Our mission at Industrious is to help companies of all shapes, sizes, and stages find and build amazing workplaces. The Inbound Sales Development Manager, reporting into the VP of Brand & Marketing, will be responsible for ensuring that every person that lands on our website gets the information they need in order to enter and to continuously progress through our sales funnel. From small startups in a single market to large Fortune 500 companies, you will be responsible for building and guiding the team and processes that will enable us to deliver amazing workplace solutions to millions of people each year.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly hire, manage and inspire our inside Member Development team, who owns all first customer touchpoints for the organization (inbound web applications, email, phone, chat)
  • Drive improvements in core sales funnel KPIs, with a focus on driving business goals for each of our business units, by optimizing our processes, toolset, messaging, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with our demand generation team to devise smart, high-performing nurture flows that communicate our unique brand and inspire action
  • Lead cross functional collaboration with Launch, Marketing, Enterprise and Community Manager teams to ensure seamless customer experience and sales approach
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting is in place
  • Identify, design, and implement new processes designed to optimize business performance at a high-growth company

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of total sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years spent directly managing, training and coaching others
  • Proven track record of exceeding personal and team goals
  • Experience defining and improving a sales process and high level of comfort working with modern sales tech stack
  • Experience devising and leading a sales training and coaching program
  • Deep experience with CRM (Salesforce) and broad sales productivity tool kits
  • Appetite to work in a fast-paced environment with limited oversight
  • Based in NYC
  • Bachelor’s degree
