NextGuest is expanding its team of talented professionals by adding a high-energy Junior Paid Media Specialist to our New York office to focus on providing online media planning services for NextGuest clients. As a junior paid media specialist, you will grow a strong foundation across multiple paid media initiatives from paid social advertising to search engine marketing to media planning and more.

As a Junior Paid Media Specialist, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage Search Engine Marketing Campaigns on Google, Bing/Yahoo (via Adobe Media Optimizer) as well as campaigns on the Google Display Network (via Campaign Manager)
  • Maintain and manage spend across all SEM and metasearch campaigns and ensure campaigns are achieving ROI goals on an ongoing basis
  • Research new media opportunities and assist in creating strategic media plans and proposals
  • Create, launch, and monitor performance for all paid media initiatives in corresponding platforms
  • Implementation, creative rotation and URL updates for tracking tags
  • Acquire online media insertion orders and work with vendors to launch campaigns
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of paid social media campaigns across channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest)
  • Actively contribute to the media planning strategies and buying across all channels
  • Use reporting tools (DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Facebook Ads Manager, Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics, etc.) to analyze campaign performance and provide recommendations for optimizations on an ongoing basis
  • Plan, launch and manage of advertising campaigns on various meta search marketing channels including Google and TripAdvisor.
  • Cultivate and demonstrate an interest and awareness of trends and best practices as related to both the hospitality industry and digital marketing.
  • Create ad copy and perform keyword research, analysis and optimizations
  • Liaise with Copywriting and SEO departments to synchronize organic and paid search, increase efficiencies, and drive more conversions

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business or Hospitality/Travel preferred but not required
  • Passion for digital advertising and social media
  • Stellar organizational skills with an eye for detail
  • Diligent work habits and ability to meet deadlines; ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial company environments with a major emphasis on team
  • Knowledge or general interest of the hospitality and travel industry as well as technology and marketing solutions is a major bonus
  • Strong analytical skills and a knack creative problem solving
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; professional attitude and appearance
  • Upbeat attitude and eagerness to learn the different aspects of digital advertising and hotel marketing
