ABOUT THE TEAM AND ROLE

theSkimm’s Growth Marketing team is a group of fast-moving, data-driven, and creative thinkers who drive growth and engagement across all TheSkimm’s platforms and products. The Loyalty Program Manager will be a vital member of our Growth Marketing team, helping to launch, enhance, and manage the loyalty program for theSkimm.

The Loyalty Program Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Lifecycle Marketing. We’re looking for someone to manage the Loyalty Program, from initial launch to day-to-day management and triggered journeys, program strategy, execution, testing, optimization, and reporting. The ideal candidate is experienced with loyalty programs, highly organized, and has exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Support the rollout of our loyalty program across our product channels, oversee and implement user communications, and work cross-functionally to update stakeholders.
  • Manage, execute, and enhance all aspects of the loyalty program, including triggered user journeys, communication strategy and cadence, new user activities, benefits and rewards, customer service, legal concerns, and reporting.
  • Develop strategy to grow program enrollment, increase retention, and minimize churn.
  • Optimize the user experience and work closely with Consumer Insights on engagement surveys
  • Create loyalty specific promotions and marketing campaigns, manage campaign and rewards calendar, ideate new ways to maximize engagement across owned channels.
  • Deliver program performance reports and results. Collaborate with Data to determine key motivators, success metrics and KPIs, benchmark against competitors, forecast and identify areas of opportunity, and share top loyalty consumer behaviors.
  • Coordinate with various cross-functional teams and Skimm verticals, and work with external loyalty program vendors.

WHAT WILL SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS

  • Requires 3-5 years of direct experience managing loyalty programs, email communications, and triggered user journeys
  • Strong understanding of multi-channel marketing, customer segmentation, and consumer behavior analysis
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for theSkimm's brand and products
  • Experience with email service providers, SMS platforms, or other messaging platforms is a big plus!
