Manager, Content Marketing

As a Manager on the North American Content team overseeing Customer Relationship Management and E-commerce, you'll help drive the creative strategy and messaging for our marketing communications-including email, direct mail, in-app and visitor site content- as well as WW's consumer products positioning and copy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage research and insights to Create and execute a strategy for creative marketing content, helping to determine how to best reach an audience through both a marketing and copywriting lens.
- Develop communications that grow audience and drive conversion, while surprising and delighting our WW members.
- Write and/or edit copy for all of WW's CRM channels: email, landing pages, in-app, and paid social media advertisements
- Manage workflow and oversee a more junior writer/writers; give mentorship and guidance
- Collaborate with members of the Content and Creative teams to develop strategic solutions against marketing briefs.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (including Marketing, Product and Brand) to execute projects.
- Be able to contribute creative ideas, take creative direction, be nimble and work within rapid turnaround times.
Key Skills/Competencies:
- 7-10 years of experience as a copywriter/editor for an advertising agency or in-house for a global brand. 1-2 years in a marketing organization highly desired, but not required.
- A background in writing for digital (e-commerce preferred) and an ability to articulate and enhance a consumer's journey through site copy.
- Ability to drive open and click thru rate and run e-newsletter testing protocols
- A deep familiarity with social media best practices, both paid and organic.
- Expertise in direct response marketing for consumer-facing brands.
- Experience in using metrics and data to help determine best creative ways forward.
- An understanding of e-commerce best practices, especially as they pertain to email.
- Experience conceiving of campaign ideas, collaborating with design and brand teams.
