Primary Purpose: Leverage creativity, organizational skills, technical skills, and proficiency in SEO to support business growth.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in SEO to...
- Help track all SEO request, campaigns, and projects for our brands (Coach, Kate Spade New York, and Stuart Weitzman)
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (product, engineering, customer experience, analytics, design, stores, paid marketing/SEM, affiliate, email, social, different kinds of agencies, site merch, copy, senior leadership, etc.) to implement SEO projects and mitigate organic issues.
- Provide detailed, thorough keyword research on various topics.
- Maintain tracking of keywords and pages.
- Routinely audit the sites for best practices.
- Assist in testing (and occasionally implementing) on-page elements, URLs, title tags, meta descriptions, performance, site architecture, internal linking, schema, international tags, etc.
- Assist in off-page strategy and working with the PR team.
- Assist in optimizing and implementing local strategy.
- Help maintain and prioritize the technical and product SEO roadmaps for growth, improving the site, and correcting identified issues.
- Estimate SEO impact/risk of certain activities.
- Write some content and outlines for copy teams.
- Create reports and present performance recaps when requested.
- Develop, run, and evaluate SEO experiments to inform future strategies.
The accomplished individual will possess...
- Excellent grammar and writing skills.
- The ability to fact-check, self-edit and proofread own work.
- Strong background on technical skills (understanding PWAs, different tools to crawl sites like Screaming Frog, checking rendered and non-rendered pages, etc.).
- Proficiency in site/search tools (SFCC, Amplience, Plum Slice, Yext, Semrush, Google tools like Search Console, etc.).
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
An outstanding professional will have...
- 4-5 years of SEO as a primary function required, with relevant work experience in keyword research, explaining and conducting audits, logging tickets, and checking sites required.
- Strong experience in large ecommerce websites strongly preferred.
