Senior Analyst, Growth Marketing Automation

As a valuable member of the Growth Marketing team, you'll play a crucial role in executing and optimizing marketing automation workflow and processes and help engineer innovative data and automation solutions to unlock targeting and aligning it with personalized messaging and landing experience at scale. This role reports directly to the VP of Growth Marketing.
What you'll do
- Work side-by-side with best-in-class team of Growth Marketers to help scale performance and personalization wins through automation and data solutions.
- Work inside native advertising platforms such as GoogleAds/Adwords to write automation scripts leveraging data warehouse and static feed pipelines.
- Work inside pixel/tag-management platforms and customer-data-platforms (CDP) to maintain and enhance 1P audience signals and leverage customer journey insights to facilitate marketing orchestration.
- Build reporting and dashboard infrastructure and integrations for SEM, Programmatic/Display, Paid Social and Online Video.
- Develop prototype and MVP platforms and tools for managing SEM, Programmatic/Display , Paid Social and Online Video accounts. This might include partner API integrations, Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, feed augmentation and more.
- Work alongside central Analytics/Data-Science, Data Platform and Product/engineering teams as a key marketing stakeholder to identify automation opportunities and build/refine requirements, share insights and plug into a technical support community.
What you have
The ideal candidate can relay complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, enjoys partnering with both business users and application developers, and has a proven ability to build systems that allow greater clarity, consistency, and efficiency in utilizing data. Experience with specific tools is less important than aptitude and drive, but at a minimum, we would expect:
- Marketing Automation experience leveraging GoogleAds/Adwords, Facebook, Customer-Data-Platforms (CDP), Demand-side Platforms (DSP) and/or Google Tag Manager/tag management platforms or ability to learn new platforms quickly
- Javascript/scripting experience or ability to learn
- 2+ years SQL & Python
- 2+ years experience developing on and maintaining ETL systems
- High level understanding of different data processing systems
- Experience working cross-functionally with different business units to translate business problems into data problems and solve them
- Comfort turning ideas into code
- Scrappy and solutions-oriented mindset
- Experience using BI (Tableau, Looker, Domo etc)
- Data-processing frameworks (Spark, Flink)
- Streaming data/message queues (Akka streams, Kafka)
- Redshift, S3, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda, Glue, and RDS)
