Role
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to design and lead best-in-class marketing campaigns on our fast-growing Acquisition team. This role is a unique mix of strategy and execution. Bringing your experience and marketing instincts to bear, you’ll architect new campaigns in one or more of these channels: Paid Social, SEM, Programmatic, and Offline. You will report to the Head of Acquisition Marketing in our New York HQ but work highly cross-functionally to deliver results.
What You’ll Do
- Within your channel(s) pitch ideas on how to target the right people at the right time, leveraging segmented customer data
- Day to day, you’ll own the “hands on the keyboard” execution of marketing and advertising operations: Buy the media, deploy the ads, and test and optimize creative
- Closely track campaign performance to derive insights and make recommendations for what we can do next to drive acquisition costs down and revenue up
- Work tightly with designers, copywriters, front end developers, and other partners across Marketing, Design, and Product to launch campaigns
- Work with the Data team to calibrate and refine multi-touch attribution and influence tactical and strategic decisions
- Use your smarts! We need you to innovate, bring your best ideas to the table, and test new channels
What You’ll Need
- B.A. degree with analytical or business emphasis. M.S. or M.B.A. preferred
- 4-8 years of marketing-specific experience, with at least 3-5 years focused on acquisition and growth marketing
- A strong left brain with creative tendencies
- A hunger to drive results, iterate, and overcome obstacles
- Hands-on experience with marketing platforms; a willingness to not just strategize but also own execution
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functionally to develop and deliver marketing campaigns. Excellent visual, written, and verbal communication skills help you influence and gain buy-in at all levels
- Demonstrated history of juggling many projects at once while delivering outcomes
- Proficiency in web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Amplitude, etc.) and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
- A desire to learn: you keep abreast of new digital marketing innovations and platforms, adtech and martech capabilities, and best in class campaigns from all industries
