What you’ll do
Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator will provide marketing support to the local sales teams, helping ensure a consistent message is told across markets based on brand marketing standards and local needs.This individual will be responsible for:
- Local event coordination and support (planning input, logistics, negotiating with local vendors, event attendance, etc.)
- Tracking and reporting on local event KPIs
- Coordinating efforts of local PR teams in alignment with corporate efforts
- Assisting with execution of local marketing and communication programs
- Management of local social media efforts, in coordination with corporate efforts
- Provide local input to content programming
- Ordering and distribution of sales promotional items and client gifts on an as-needed basis
- Sales support, including localizing sales materials, collateral and client talking points
Who you are
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university
- 1+ years of experience in marketing preferably at an agency or media company
- Strong organizational skills – ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to develop strong relationships with management and teams
- Excellent writing skills including presentation development
- Understanding of the creative development process
- Strong interpersonal skills - with internal and external clients
- Knowledge of media marketing, the sales process and media in general
- Thorough knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc and presentation proficiency
- Experience with the creative development process with key stakeholders
