About the Role

Courant is seeking a talented and proactive Marketing Coordinator to assist in developing and executing strategic initiatives across all marketing channels. The Marketing Coordinator will, in particular, spearhead the management of social media channels, contribute to concepting and executing digital marketing initiatives (product launches, seasonal campaigns, partnership campaigns), as well as work to produce compelling branded visual content through regular photoshoots in-studio and at offsite venues. This is an exciting, hands-on opportunity for a hard-working, hyper-creative person to work directly with the co-founding and senior leadership team on critical marketing strategy and tactics.

This is a full-time role based in-house in New York City and reports to the Digital Marketing Director. Candidates must be based in New York City.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the project management, planning, and execution of our brand marketing strategy across several channels, including digital, social media, email, web, blog and partnerships

  • Manage and lead the growth of social media and partnership initiatives, with key tasks including organizing content calendars, posting, influencer management, community engagement, customer experience, and monitoring key performance metrics. Platforms used include Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and the online staycourant.com blog (to be launched in Q2 2021).

  • Support the production of branded visual content for all digital platforms alongside the internal creative & marketing teams. Tasks include shot list creation, product coordination, venue & model planning, and general on-shoot day of assistance

  • Coordinate assets between digital marketing team and internal creative team, used for ads, emails, banners, website, out of home campaigns, and more

  • Support and execute all marketing initiatives, including new product launches and seasonal campaigns such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Black Friday Cyber Monday, and Holiday

About You

  • 1-3 years in relevant experience in marketing background, working in and executing across a diverse set of marketing channels at a consumer brand or creative agency

  • Deep understanding of social media (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest mainly)

  • Creative mind with an elevated eye for detail and design, tied to modern consumer product trends

  • A demonstrated ability to tackle projects independently and collectively

  • Adept project manager who is experienced managing multiple projects simultaneously with internal and external teams 

  • Experience producing brand-specific creative content (visual and written)

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

  • Willingness to learn on the job, be flexible, ask questions, and be a team player

  • Enjoy working with a small team with exposure to several parts of the business, marketing & non-marketing 

  • Understanding of the modern consumer products landscape (retail & online)

  • Passion for home goods, technology and consumer electronics

*This role will begin working remotely and move onsite when our office reopens.
