As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will partner with the marketing team to measure the impact of various direct and indirect marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving complex problems with data, an insatiable curiosity for the truth and excels in distilling information across the team and organization.

As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will:

  • Provide a data driven point of view around marketing at Grailed.
  • Build and maintain visibility into the top of funnels while paying attention to the quality of traffic driving to site.
  • Explore data to find actionable insights and make recommendations through funnels, cohort analysis, user segmentation, and more
  • Design and develop a tracking plan to collect event data on user behavior across web and mobile
  • Partner with engineering to implement, document, validate, and monitor our tracking and metrics
  • Maintain current and new data systems and data pipelines that collect, clean, and surface data

The following might describe you:

  • 3-6 years experience working as a Data Analyst with at least 1 year as a Marketing Analyst.
  • Fluency in SQL & Excel
  • Ability to convert business questions to data questions and communicate findings to non-technical team members
  • Experience measuring impact and ROI on experiential marketing campaigns.
  • A deep understanding of experiment design
  • Background in e-commerce or marketplaces
  • Curious & inquisitive to explore the data and generate insights
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where business needs are ever changing
  • Experience with Looker, Amplitude, and/or Google Analytics a huge plus
  • Experience with Python a huge plus

We're a fully-distributed workforce and we empower our team to do their best work from anywhere within the US. We keep a spacious HQ office in Soho, NYC for those looking to work in an office setting. Our two-floor set up includes private roof access which is perfect for al fresco meetings or lunch.
