Marketing Director

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop and execute EquityZen’s marketing strategy including performance marketing, PR, social media, content marketing, and product marketing
- Build out the Marketing team, starting with providing management and leadership for a performance marketer, and then developing and executing a hiring plan to grow the team
- Own our marketing KPIs and budget, using data to track marketing performance and generate insights to grow the business and improve our unit economics and client experience
- Collaborate with Product and Revenue teams to define, manage, and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new and existing offerings
- Work with internal Legal function to ensure a compliant marketing operation
THE RIGHT STUFF
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- 7+ years’ experience working in digital marketing, including experience in performance, growth, and/or product marketing
- Data-driven mentality with the ability to analyze data across various mediums and tools including Mixpanel and Excel
- Demonstrated ability to craft and manage marketing budgets
- Proven success executing strategic marketing campaigns aimed at both customer acquisition and engagement and across various digital channels such as Google AdWords and email marketing
