Phosphorus is using genomics to improve human health. Our genetic tests help people to take a proactive approach to their health, preventing disease before it happens. We are looking for someone with the drive and talent to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of various online/offline marketing initiatives including brand identity, strategy, messaging, SEO/SEM, display, mobile, social, events and partner marketing programs to drive new user growth. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.  

This role spans from effectively managing and measuring campaigns from inception to meticulously fine tuning and optimizing performance across paid and organic marketing. We are looking for a highly strategic person that is comfortable defining marketing strategy, executing goals, and analyzing results.

What you'll do

  • Wake up everyday thinking about how to grow and evolve our company brand
  • Own and optimize  user acquisition funnels, uncovering new growth opportunities
  • Measure effectiveness of new channels and marketing campaigns, and identify greatest opportunities of impact across the user lifecycle
  • Craft and optimize campaign content to A/B test across various channels
  • Create social content strategy and calendar for the major social channels, including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and the phosphorus.com blog
  • Manage email campaigns, maintain and grow emailing lists
  • Edit, proofread and improve content and copy provided by others
  • Most of all, have fun! Injecting joy into every story, photo, event, and illustration is an integral part of working at Phosphorus

Desired Skills

  • Previous experience in digital marketing where you were responsible for user acquisition across paid and organic channels
  • Highly analytical and comfortable with setting up and leveraging marketing analytics tools (Google Analytics, Heap Analytics) for insights
  • Strong visual taste as well as clean copy writing skills
  • Detail oriented and the ability to complete projects independently
  • Impeccable organization and time management skills
  • Punctuality, open communication and follow up on open tasks
  • Familiarity with Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook and interested in learning more
  • Team player who thrives on change and collaborates well in a fast paced environment where all team members wear multiple hats
