ABOUT VITALLY:

Vitally is a TechStars 2017 startup building a powerful and beautiful Customer Success platform to help companies drive a world-class customer experience, improve churn, and better understand their customers.  

We just raised a fresh Seed round from 2048 Ventures and Founder Collective, and we're looking for an ambitious, intelligent, and creative marketing professional to help build out an incredible marketing strategy and brand that takes our company to the next level 📈.

THE ROLE:

We're looking for our first full-time marketing hire to pour gas on the fire and help accelerate our customer acquisition and brand awareness.  This is a highly autonomous role and we're looking for someone that wants to really have true ownership over building marketing from top to bottom.

Some things you'll do:

- Experiment with and determine what channels we should allocate resources into, as well as how much we should allocate.  Anything is fair game, but we'd love for you to be comfortable with content marketing and be a generalist here, as we don't yet know the right answer!
- Build out our initial Marketing playbook and software stack, with an emphasis on being scrappy and creative
- Have a strong business perspective and be willing to help around in other areas.  Expect to wear multiple hats!
- You'll report directly to the Head of Revenue and work closely with our CEO.  That said, you'll mostly be in charge of yourself and we're looking for someone who can be highly autonomous.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

- 2+ years of marketing experience at a software company
- Comfort with technical products and complex value propositions
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Collaborative team player with a positive demeanor and high degree of accountability
- Highly metrics oriented.  We believe sales, marketing, and CS should all be closely aligned, and we don't believe in vanity metrics or goals.
- Familiarity with Customer Success platforms such as Gainsight, Totango, Churnzero
- Familiarity with BI and data tools like Looker, Mixpanel, and Segment.
- Comfortable with rapid pace, change, and autonomy
