Altru is looking for our first Marketing Manager to build our brand amongst the HR community.

This is an unrivaled opportunity to get a front-row seat at a high-growth startup working with some of the most well-known companies in the world. You will learn from proven startup veterans in a B2B environment working on an exciting product that is transforming an industry.

As the first member marketing team, you will work with our CEO to help us build our brand messaging. You will own all parts of our marketing, including defining the strategy, social, blog, sales collateral, webinars, etc.

Roles and Responsibilities, and Outcomes

The Marketing Manager will be the first marketer and will build on Altru’s demand generation strategies across sales and business development teams, including: email marketing, social media marketing, event marketing, website chat bots, website conversion, newsletters and account-based marketing strategies.

Product: work closely with CTO and sales teams to distill key functionality and benefits into core product marketing messages; devise and launch product marketing campaigns / non-technical product features to improve customer satisfaction, revenue and retention.

Sales Enablement: communicate the value proposition and develop the assets for the sales team (including demos, sales presentations & training, FAQs, one sheets, and other product collateral as needed).

Market Intelligence: be a guide on our different member types, their goals and activities; undertake primary research in the market, talking directly with both customers and non-customers; become an authority on our competition (broadly defined) and how we differentiate in meaningful ways.

Analytics: Support the Demand Generation function to plan and execute against revenue targets. Define, measure, and be responsible for the KPIs; draw out analytical insights and strategic changes from website and CRM data.

Experience

2-5 years experience in a marketing or sales enablement role at a technology company, HR Tech company, or growth stage startup.

An analytical and creative thinker who can learn quickly, generate and execute on marketing campaigns & growth ideas, and is gritty enough to get in the weeds to support complex and nuanced challenges with a “no task is too small” philosophy.

You are 100% committed to acquiring mastery of the psychology of different customer archetypes within the private capital markets quickly, or come in with an intimate understanding of our audience already.

A record of out-performance and the maturity and skills needed to execute and self-manage multiple projects with fast deadlines.

Ought to be an excellent writer and able to produce collateral quickly and effectively.
