Marketing Operations and Analytics Manager
ABOUT THE ROLE
Cohley is seeking an exceptional Marketing Operations & Analytics Manager to support our marketing team, and to ensure that our organization continues to increase our efficiency and effectiveness.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for optimizing the technology and building the data and analytics processes that fuel the marketing and sales team. As part of a startup and small marketing team, you will also be involved in marketing initiatives that include events, content marketing, social media, emailing, and more. You are passionate about marketing first and foremost, with a strong analytical mind and a creative, scrappy, can-do attitude that enables you to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Operations
- Build strategy and execute marketing events
- Collaborate with internal and external partners on content development including digital and video content, collateral material, training resources, presentations
- Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
- Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns to gain insight and assess against goals
- Oversee and optimize Hubspot including campaign setup and execution, lead management, scoring, and routing
Database Management
- Manage marketing database activities including list acquisition, scrubbing, and importing
- Understand how data is structured in the systems, and segment database based on criteria (life cycle stage, persona)
- Maintain data hygiene for a healthy contact database
Reporting and Analytics
- Define and implement frameworks and scorecards for measuring, reporting and analyzing marketing results
- Report on performance at the asset, campaign, and channel level, as well as holistic performance across channels
- Develop insights into marketing impact on pipeline, revenue, brand awareness, and more; provide recommendations to enhance future campaign performance and measurements
- Support ad-hoc marketing insights requests for key stakeholders
Technology and Process
- Ensure tools and technologies are being utilized efficiently and strategically
- Educate sales reps and other teams on how to utilize tools and reports available to them to get the most out of them
- Evaluate and ensure successful implementation and integration of new marketing technologies
CRM Sales Optimization
- Partner with Head of Marketing and Head of Sales Operations to develop lead source tracking, lead scoring and lead flow processes.
- Create behavioral and demographic segmentation programs to support automated nurture, ABM, and lead scoring initiatives
- Monitor and consistently improve lead source tracking, lead scoring and lead flow.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area - Marketing/Communications/PR/Digital/Business
- 3 years experience working in marketing, advertising or business development
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced understanding of social communities, tech platforms, and a track record of working with analytics (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager)
- Strong CRM experience (Hubspot, Salesforce)
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills
- B2B marketing experience would be a bonus
