Marketing Specialist
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
The Marketing Specialist will project manage marketing programs that drive The Trade Desk’s brand awareness, customer acquisition and engagement, as well as communicate marketing efforts to the company. You’d be joining a fast-growing, tight-knit team at a high-growth company. This key role will report to the Senior Director of Marketing, North America, but will also work closely with our teams in Europe and Asia Pacific.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Support the orchestration of 360 degree marketing campaigns, from conception to retrospectives, collaborating with members across the team and sometimes across the globe
- Coordinate market research, surveys and brand health initiatives
- Manage agreed-upon media buys and sponsorships
- Drive plan to engage external influencers and strategic relationships, including a Digital Marketing Executive Board and professional services firms
- Contribute ideas and administer customer premiums, including a large annual holiday gift program
- Manage an internal monthly marketing newsletter that amasses key marketing accomplishments and developments important to the business
- Support new marketing programs on an ad hoc basis, as they arise
- Bring your ideas on process improvement, strategic marketing and creative initiatives to a smart, innovative and receptive team
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing, media or advertising
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Proven project management skills; strong ability to multi-task and produce quality work on time
- Self-starter who thrives on working in teams in fast-paced environments
- Resourceful and creative problem-solver
- Inherent desire to collaborate and support multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Eagerness to develop marketing skills
- Make a positive contribution to the Trade Desk company and culture
