MLB is currently seeking a seasonal Media Coordination Scheduler to work closely with the Broadcast Operations team to ensure that all Major & Minor League Baseball games and related events (i.e., press conferences, trade deals, weekly podcasts, etc.) are scheduled correctly. This position will also make sure that any scheduling changes, including last minute game-day disruptions such as rain delays and cancellations, are rescheduled in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, have a keen attention to detail, and a technical understanding of audio and video broadcast systems.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively monitor game-day schedules across all MLB and Minor League classifications to ensure that each team’s schedule is up-to-date in real time
• Ensure that non-game related events are tracked and logged correctly in MLB’s internal software programs
• Communicate system maintenance issues to the appropriate teams and assist with rescheduling all game-day related content accordingly
• Adhere to quality control guidelines and procedures 

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years in television programming and trafficking is preferred 
• Professional experience working with media scheduling software is desired
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure
• Possess excellent communication skills to relay game-day related issues to the appropriate channels via phone, email and Slack
• Capacity to deliver strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Knowledgeable of computer operating systems such as PC and Apple products
• Familiarity with MLB.com, MiLB.TV, MLB.TV, MLB At Bat and other streaming services
• Available to work a flexible schedule that aligns with the MLB game-day schedule
