Media Relations
IEX’s growing Marketing and Communications team is looking for a Public Relations Manager to be responsible for all tactical media execution and assist with strategy. You will be tasked with managing media relationships, drafting all communications materials, pitching the brand across all media outlets, and collaborating with various stakeholders on generating new initiatives in relation to brand strategy.

What you’ll do:
- Responsible for all tactical media execution
- Work with Head of Communications on communications strategy and strategic initiatives
- Cultivate and maintain strong media relationships that are relevant to the company
- Responsible for all media monitoring and internal media reporting
- Draft all communications materials, including press releases, messaging documents, talking points, etc.
- Create and maintain a functional media contact list
- Strategically pitch the brand across broadcast, print and online outlets
- Respond to all incoming media inquiries as well as conference and event requests
- Create and manage a conference strategy for company executives
- Remain constantly engaged in the news across finance, tech, business, and consumer outlets
- Work to generate new ideas and approaches to ensure the company’s communications function is operating at its best
- Collaborate with the entire Marcomms team around events, initiatives, brand strategy, and execution
Your background:
- 4-7 years of relevant public relations experience
- Experience with tech and consumer PR. We are not looking for an individual with only a financial communications background
- Existing relationships with reporters, producers, and editors across a variety of media outlets
- Proven ability to successfully pitch meaningful stories to an array of news outlets
