Boll & Branch is seeking a Manager to lead our offline prospecting efforts. You must be customer-obsessed, constantly ideating and testing new strategies and tactics for attracting new customers to Boll & Branch. 

Since our launch in 2014, Boll & Branch has been one of the fastest-growing consumer brands in the world and we’re looking to grow even faster. Offline media has been a part of our acquisition mix from the beginning and we are looking for an expert to help us manage it with the same agility and analytics as digital. Our offline media is a mix of top of funnel and mid funnel channels, and therefore requires someone with strong experience and perspective on attribution. This role will partner very closely with the Digital Growth Manager to ensure that there is synergy across the acquisition funnel.  

You are the ideal candidate if you are highly analytical and obsessed with our customer and our category. 

This position will have the opportunity to work predominantly from either our NYC satellite office or our Summit, NJ HQ (but will need to be at HQ for key team and cross-functional in-person meetings). This position will have the opportunity to network with growth counterparts at other L Catterton (private equity partner) brands to share best learnings and best practices. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Create a holistic data-driven offline acquisition strategy in order to build and execute testing roadmap across messaging, creative, audience, frequency and channel mix.
  • Scale a multi-million dollar annual offline media budget at a efficient CPA goal.
  • Manage our external media buying agencies and optimize budget allocation across channels based on real time growth opportunities.
  • Develop and nurture newer channels (TV/Streaming).
  • Continue to optimize frequency and reach on legacy channels (Audio).
  • Test and set appropriate KPIs to scale new channels (OOH, print).
  • Create a bottoms up perspective on budgets and KPIs, aligning with overall tops down strategy and goals.

In partnership with the brand marketing team:

  • Develop and execute brand marketing campaigns that drive overall awareness for new potential customers; grow awareness of strategic product pillars 

In partnership with the Retention team:

  • Create unique cohort strategies to retain and increase LTV of offline customers

In partnership with Creative:

  • Create engaging, effective, multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Develop a mix of evergreen assets while keeping content fresh

In partnership with Business Intelligence:

  • Iterate and optimize internal media attribution model, refresh based on internal and external research and analysis and testing
  • Set up and maintain key reports and dashboards to gain insights and test / validate hypotheses on key metrics
  • Deep dive into customer segments and attributes, leveraging internal and external data 
  • Set up AB tests to prove out hypotheses, measure results

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier University
  • 3-4 years of experience in performance marketing (in house preferred, at a fast-paced consumer brand a plus)
  • Highly analytical, metrics-driven, with ability to turn empirical data into insightful, strategic decisions
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, handle pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment without a lot of direction or oversight
  • Involved in DTC/marketing community, attends conferences and events to stay ahead of industry trends

Additional qualifications:

  • Expert in TV advertising performance analytics, e.g., maximizing lift in site traffic driven by TV ads
  • Familiar with various methodologies of TV attribution models
