GlossGenius is changing how beauty and wellness business owners do business and now it’s time to bring in a paid marketing guru to showcase our amazing product and make sure GlossGenius is top of mind. The paid marketing strategist will lead the strategy, execution, and reporting of all paid & owned media vehicles with the goal of increasing high-quality traffic & conversions to GlossGenius.

Responsibilities You’ll Own and Rock

• Oversee the inception, creation, development and execution of all paid marketing channels such as paid social media marketing and SEM across a variety of metrics (app downloads, subscriber acquisition, driving readers to our blog, etc.).

• Come up with brilliant creative ideas that are highly relevant to our customer base and are outside the box.

• Develop campaign specific goals, build and continually refine audience targeting, messaging, creatives, segmentation, content, etc.

• Day-to-day account management including campaign optimization, audience creation, budget management, and testing ideation and execution.

• Track, measure, and analyze performance of paid social campaigns.

• Lead monitoring and reporting of campaign performance and proactively communicate any issues.

• Review plans and actively apply learnings to create best-in-class executions.

• Serve as paid social and SEM expert, platform partner, and trend-spotter to bring first-to-market social and digital media opportunities that align with business objectives.

• This is a highly tactical role where you will be hands-on developing, creating, testing, implementing and refining. 

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of full-time experience managing paid marketing campaigns across social media & SEM.

• Deep understanding of paid marketing strategies through various channels including Facebook, Instagram, Google, and social tracking implementation and reporting.

• Highly data-driven and analytical mind who can understand results and propose course of action

• Demonstrated expertise in media strategy and execution. 

• Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and come up with unique ideas for creative content, messaging and campaigns. 

• Self-starter, highly motivated, positive demeanor, excellent communicator, and able to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously.

• Polished with excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.

• Analytical with a comfort in dealing with numbers and reporting

• This is for a full-time position in New York, NY (our offices are based in the coolest part of Soho, downtown NYC).
