Public Relations Manager | What You Will Do
We’re looking for a seasoned and passionate Public Relations Manager to take on an integral and influential role in carrying out our public relations strategy. This role will include but is not limited to pitching and sourcing stories, building relationships with targeted media, drafting press materials, and executing proactive brand-building campaigns. You’ll be tasked with helping us grow brand awareness to attract and retain customers and burnish MANTL’s reputation. You will be part of a dynamic team of marketers and salespeople and report to the Director of Communications.
You will:
- Drive our corporate and customer storytelling with a focus on driving revenue
- Foster current media relationships and build new relationships
- Serve as PR liaison for our customers
- Secure and drive interview opportunities for internal and external stakeholders
- Work with internal spokespeople to develop their platforms and messaging via media training, penning op-eds, interview opportunities and speaking engagements
- Brainstorm creative and innovative ways to engage with the media, customers and prospects
- Maintain a deep understanding of the brand, technology solutions, industry landscape and target audience.
Who You Are
- You have a degree in Communications, Journalism, Advertising or another related field
- You have 5+ years of public relations experience in a high-growth environment.
- You are fluent in English with superb writing, grammar, and oral communications skills.
- You are organized and can manage your time effectively to meet deadlines.
- You have the ability to push a brand forward with fresh, evolving, creative ideas.
- Enterprise experience is a plus by not a must.
- An understanding of the banking industry is preferred.
