The Opportunity.
As part of the product marketing team and reporting into the VP of Global Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Director will be responsible for driving product market penetration and revenue by managing product launches from beginning to end, and creating marketing and communication plans to ensure ongoing success. You’ll work closely with your peers in product, marketing, engineering, partner, sales, support, and operations.
Responsibilities:
Go-to-market: own and drive the GTM process working closely with product, marketing and sales including: defining client segmentation and G2M strategy, messaging, sales pitch training, product training, marketing collateral and more. Define global marketing objectives, strategies and expected KPIs based on stated business goals.
Product launch: Understand product vision, priorities, and roadmaps, and plan the go-to-market launch strategy for new products and releases, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.Storytelling: Develop product positioning, value proposition and messaging to differentiate our product solutions, features, and functions in the global market. Partner Marketing Strategy: Develop a global partner engagement and communications strategy with key technology and agency partners. Deployed locally through field and comms marketing teams, oversee plans that may include demand generation, custom content, speaking engagements, tentpole events, etc. to support overall business needs and targets.Sales enablement: Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales materials/tools that support the selling process of our products.Web enablement: Communicate the value proposition and develop the messaging of our products on our website to support direct sales and self-serve web selling.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in a related product marketing role
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable talking to technology teammates about complex systems and telling the product story to a wide audience
- Proactive, can-do attitude with strong interpersonal skills; comfortable working with all functions and levels of the organization
- Both a strategic thinker and a doer
- Forward thinking with the ability to anticipate potential feedback or issues and solve for them upfront
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think creatively
- Experience in project management with a strong attention to detail
