The Product Go-to-Market Team:
The Product Go-to-Market team at Sisense serves as a unique connection point between key areas of the business bridging the expertise in the product, marketing, and sales organizations to deliver differentiated messaging and go-to-market strategies. We are chartered with a number of important strategic activities including market research, competitive analysis, analyst relations, product messaging, buyers journey support, thought leadership and event content, community development as well as field enablement.
What we are looking for:
Every member our team requires a unique blend of skills that run the gamut from heads-down researcher to on-stage presenter and everything in between. For this role, we are looking for someone who has specific expertise working within the OEM/developer community. This could include experience as a developer, developer relations, developer marketing, or similar roles. You understand the developer persona and how to support them as they make a buying decision and beyond. You are comfortable speaking the developer language and can interact at a peer level within the developer community.
What you will do:
The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) for OEM/Developer will take on this key outward facing role to understand and support the unique needs of the developer and OEM communities who enhance, extend and embed the Sisense product. As part of this role you will:
- Review and comment on market research and competitive analysis relating this unique buying persona.
- Define and document the Sisense value proposition and messaging.
- Manage lifecycle product marketing from pre-release product activities to post launch engagement
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Sisense products in the market.
- Create targeted content, product demonstrations, and value-based selling tools including ROI calculators, use cases, white papers, presentations, and more.
- Enable the sales team by communicating the product value proposition and develop sales tools that support the selling process of Sisense products
- Build and support a robust online community space to support our developers/OEMs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and fulfill the unique needs of the developer community.
- Be the expert on the developer market including how they buy and their buying criteria
- Act as the voice of the customers in everything we do! Influence Product Management requirements based on market research, market trends, competitive research and analysis of the Sisense buyer community.
What Should You Have?
- About 5-8 years experience in a similar area of expertise or similar role.
- Ability to understand and speak to developer languages and workspaces such as iFrames, Javascript, REST APIs, SQL, Github, Slack, etc.
- Experience with Business Intelligence (BI), Business Analytics and/or Big Data
- Highly analytical, results oriented, team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills in a variety of delivery modes - from webinars to in person center stage.
- Ability to influence sales on market positioning, product positioning and product messaging
- Ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into customer benefits
- Ability to forge strong relationships with business partners at all levels of the organization
- Highest ethical standards consistent with the policies and values of the company
