The job
The Product Marketing Manager is a member of the Product and Marketing Strategy team focused on product marketing for our team. This role will focus on leading the development of product positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategy for customers, customer-facing teams, prospects, and Sales. This role will work closely with the Product Managers, Operations team, the wider Marketing team, Sales, Customer Success, and cross-functional teams to gather feedback, develop, and deliver clear messaging for Justworks’ products and services with the goal of driving adoption, utilization, and customer satisfaction.
What you’ll do
- Lead go-to-market strategies for new product features, partners, or benefits
- Use customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market research to influence the direction of the product roadmap
- Develop creative, data-driven marketing campaigns designed to drive product adoption among target customer segments
- Lead and execute multi-channel product launches from conception through to post-launch measurement and reporting
- Develop key messaging and positioning for new products or features, ensuring that messaging is consistent across channels and customer-facing teams
- Determine and measure product KPIs that align with Justworks’ broader business objectives
- Develop and maintain ongoing knowledge and mastery of Justworks’ buyer/user personas

- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Possess strong analytical skills to develop KPIs and understand the effectiveness of key projects or initiatives
- Possess strong leadership and management skills
- A self-starter with a genuine interest in helping small businesses grow and thrive
- Work effectively within a team, yet have the ability to take initiative and work effectively on his or her own
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 4-5 years of work experience in product marketing or product management (preferably for software products)
- Strong analytical ability paired with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proven experience distilling market research and customer needs into product and marketing strategy
- Demonstrated ability to drive project ideation, development, and execution and assume sole and independent responsibility for assigned projects
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects at once, prioritizing tasks as needed
- Strong working knowledge of the healthcare/benefits or payments platforms is preferred!
- Proficiency with SQL and Tableau is a plus
