The Role

Breather is looking for a results-oriented Product Marketing Manager - with a focus on ensuring the precise execution of marketing projects. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you will collaborate with our Product, Sales, and Marketing teams in all aspects of strategy, messaging, positioning, storytelling, go-to-market execution as well as campaign building and analysis. You will also partner with Sales to set up sales enablement tools and marketing materials, conduct market analysis, and produce exciting customer stories to share with the world. Key to this role is an understanding of how to position and launch solutions that help Breather reach our customers with precision. You are obsessive about customers’ needs and wants and passionate about meeting those needs through creative storytelling that truly sets the brand apart. The ideal candidate will have an excellent track record of product marketing experience success, ideally within an Enterprise SaaS or B2B technology focused organization.

As a Product Marketing Manager at Breather, you will:

  • Conduct research on the market, competition and customers to identify trends, pain points and opportunities for growth. Have a strong baseline understanding of why we win or lose customers.
  • Assist the Director of Product Marketing in developing and executing product positioning and messaging for our ecosystem of space solutions.
  • Leverage customer insights to identify and target priority buyers, with key messages, value propositions and ensure consistency at every stage of their journey with us.
  • Help drive go-to-market plans for product releases, internally and externally; create and execute marketing plans that drive awareness, engagement and product adoption both among employees, existing clients, and prospects (as appropriate)
  • Collaborate with Sales and Product to translate product capabilities into effective problem/solution stories.
  • Develop solution sheets, presentations, messages and FAQs; partner with Product to train internal teams.
  • Identify customer wins and translate wins into compelling stories that inspire future customers.
  • Help educate key stakeholders in the company on products, position, and market intelligence.
  • Assist in the conception, development, execution and analysis of campaigns tied to product marketing deliverables as needed.
  • Assist in organizing and handling resources to deliver the elements required to complete a project with defined scope, quality, time frames and cost constraints.
  • Lead the efficient flow of work and information from marketing to creative and product departments.

Helpful Skills and Experience you’ll need to succeed:

  • 3+ years of experience with growing responsibilities in product management/marketing
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, an eye for detail and previous project management experience
  • Strong and well-defined written and verbal communications - interpersonal and presentation skills with a keen ability to translate complex concepts into creative, intuitive content and product positioning
  • Sales-driven philosophy exemplified by sales enablement materials you have developed that led to field success and revenue capture
  • Curiosity, creativity and a strategic mindset when it comes to bringing products to market and the importance of developing and managing a compelling brand
  • Leadership aptitude, and the ability to motivate, challenge and collaborate with stakeholders involved in the process
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to work with business owners to define key business questions and to build data sets that answer those questions; ability to pull data and generate insights to inform strategy and tactics
  • Comfortable with digital and social platforms with an appetite for optimization and analytics tools
  • A global mindset that allows for effectively working in diverse cultures
