The Medly marketing team is seeking a marketing leader to help build a best in class partner marketing program. This person reports directly to the VP, Retail Marketing .


In this role you will be responsible for the success of partner marketing programs with top brands like rahua, Vital Proteins, Sanitas and more. The ideal candidate will have a knack for thinking big to concept high-profile, strategic partnerships, building marketing programs from scratch, and collaborating with internal and external teams to bring them to life. This is an ideal position to combine creative skills with business acumen. To be successful in this role, you’ll be expected to think and act both strategically and tactically, 1) building scalable programs that drive awareness of our product and support partner objectives, 2) determining the tools partners need to be successful, managing the development process of these tools, and educating partners on these resources, and 3) you’ll have a deep familiarity of our business, understand our marketing levers, and have strong influence and negotiation skills. You should be detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple projects at once, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.


Responsibilities: 

  • Play an active role in new partner acquisition, using owned marketing levers to aid in negotiations
  • Work with key retail teams & suppliers  to develop full-funnel go-to-market plans, including negotiating the programs, co-developing campaign briefs, and aligning on tactics and measurement methodologies.
  • Partner with internal teams to identify and execute co-marketing programs that align with key marketing moments
  • Ideate net new partnerships to support business needs and partner with business development to negotiate and secure them
  • Develop channel marketing strategies to support strategic, high-profile retail distribution partners
  • Prepare and give business reviews to senior management regarding progress and roadblocks

Skills:

  • Strong presentation skills are essential
  • Must have strong relationship selling skills within a partner community
  • Must be a self-starter and strong closer with multi-tasking ability
  • Experience marketing, retail and project management
